Care tips for your bouquet
Clean vase: Always use a clean glass vase with lukewarm water.
Trimming: Cut the stems diagonally (approx. 2 cm) with a sharp knife or clean floral shears.
Clear leaves: Ensure no leaves are submerged in the water; this prevents bacterial growth and keeps the water fresh longer.
Flower food: Add the included flower food to the water for a longer vase life.
The best spot: Do not place the bouquet in direct sunlight, in a draft, or right next to a fruit bowl (fruit emits gases that cause flowers to wilt faster).
Changing water: Change the water every 2 to 3 days and trim a small piece off the stems diagonally again.

The 45-degree cut: Always cut rose stems at a 45-degree angle with a razor-sharp knife (avoid scissors, as they pinch the vessels shut). The larger the surface area, the more water the rose can absorb.

Do not remove thorns: Leave the thorns on as much as possible. Removing thorns creates ‘wounds’ on the stem where bacteria can enter more easily.

Boiling water trick: Is a rose drooping? Place the bottom 2 cm of the stem in boiling water for 10 seconds and then immediately place it in a vase with cold water. This removes air bubbles in the stem.

Sugar or food: Roses consume a lot of energy. Always use the included sachet of rose food; it contains the exact sugars and bacteria inhibitors needed.
